Hopefully you have arrived at the final hole still playing the round of
your life. This is no time to relax because Pebble Creek will challenge
you until the very end.

Hole #18, like #17, is not the hole to be aggressive. The smart play is
to drive the ball down the left side of the fairway. Because of the angle
of the creek, the left side is more forgiving than the right. The length
of this hole demands using the driver off the tee. It is important to
maximize the distance with the driver, but remember not to over
swing. Trouble on both sides of the fairway waits an errant drive.

A good drive will still leave a mid-to long-iron from the fairway to
the green. It is possible that a fairway wood may be needed for the
second shot. This shot is uphill to the green so remember to factor
that into your club selection. Also, use the hole location map to
determine the position of the hole for the day. This is a deep green.
A good shot to the front of the green, when the hole is in the back of the green, still leaves a distance that is easily three-putted.

Once onto this huge green the slope can severely affect the putt. Remember to hit the uphill putt extra firm, and the downhill
putt a little softer than usual. Par is a great score here to complete the round of a lifetime.
