the time you get to this hole, you hopefully are having the round
of your life. As the longest par 3 on the golf course, this is not the hole
to be aggressive.
The yardage here demands either a long iron or a fairway wood for
most players. The swing thought to remember is "keep the tempo
smooth." The mistake made with a long iron is to swing too hard.
It is a good idea to choose one more club than necessary, aim at the
right center of the green and swing smooth.
If you were fortunate to get the ball close to the hole, now is the time
to be aggressive with the putt, otherwise lag the first putt in close and
tap in your easy par. You can walk proudly to the eighteenth tee box
with a great par on this difficult hole.
